THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE has worn Orla Kiely numerous times and this morning, while meeting the cast and crew of Paddington 2 at London’s central station, she turned to the London-based designer once more.
Striding along the platform in what is her second appearance since announcing her third pregnancy, the Duchess wore a blush-pink dress with tonal daisy embroidery. A black ribbon accented the neckline and waistline, which she complemented with black courts and a black clutch.
The Duchess, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry met 130 children from several charities they support and waved them off on the Belmond British Pullman train’s journey through the countryside with the famous bear. The event, which also saw Hugh Bonneville in attendance, was hosted by Studiocanal, and backed by BAFTA through its BAFTA Kids programme.
Though said to still be suffering from the hyperemesis gravidarum that plagued her previous pregnancies, the Duchess’s commitment to raising awareness around the initiatives she holds dear has not waned. Last week, she lent her support to World Mental Health Day at a Buckingham Palace reception honouring campaigners. A royal aide told press that she is “still suffering” from severe morning sickness and would not be returning to public duties full time, yet the Duchess has stepped out in effortless style less than one week later.
