Hey, lovely people!
I keep trying out new lip balms every now and then because I am addicted to lip balms and this tinted lip balm by L’Oreal Paris is the result of that obsession. Today, I am going to review L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm 418 Caring Coral.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm 418 Caring Coral:
Firstly, let’s talk about the beautiful packaging in which it comes. The base comes in a metallic gold colour and the cap has a beautiful coral pink colour with ‘Colour Riche Balm SPF 15’ printed over it in a golden font.
The packaging gives it a lavish look. The cap closes with an audible click but becomes loose with time and that is why it is not so travel-friendly. Due to its classy packaging, it will look beautiful lying in your kit.
Oh my gosh, don’t even get me started about the fragrance. I just can’t tell you guys how delicious it smells. It smells a lot like a caramel toffee and sometimes I feel like eating it, but unfortunately I can’t. ☹
The texture is buttery smooth. It glides on very smoothly on the lips. It is quite thin and is really comfortable to wear.
The coverage is very sheer. It does not cover the pigmentation of lips. It looks like a clear gloss with a hint of pink. I am not quite pleased with the coverage it provides.
The staying power is quite low. It cannot even survive a meal. The company claims that it provides hydration for 8 hours whereas it does not even last 2 hours on my lips.
If I had to buy this lip balm I would buy it solely for its packaging and fragrance. It does not provide any extraordinary nourishment. The hydration it provides is equal to the Maybelline Baby Lips, which is much cheaper and better than this.
Pros of L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm 418 Caring Coral:
• Beautiful packaging.
• Delicious scent.
• Smooth texture.
• SPF 15.
Cons of L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm 418 Caring Coral:
• Exorbitant price for a lip balm.
• Does not last long.
• Is not tinted enough.
IMBB Rating: 2/5
Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm 418 Caring Coral?
No, I would neither recommend nor repurchase because it does not provide any long-lasting hydration which also contradicts its claim.
